November Tea

This Aynsley cup was one of the first ones I purchased when I began my teacup collection.  I was drawn to it because of the rich maroon color, the pretty gold filigree design and its footed pedestal.  The interior is white and contrasts nicely with the gold and maroon.

novtea1The cup and saucer are sharing the spotlight with Miss November, a Lefton birthday angel figurine.  Soon she will be a gift for a friend who has a November birthday.

novtea2This Thanksgiving week (in the States) I am linking with Bernideen’s Tea, Antiques and Teacups and Rose Chintz Cottage.  I am missing Martha’s Favorites as she is unable to host this week.

  1. Hi Jill,
Your teacup is very elegant! Such a rich colour and lovely shape. The little birthday girl is adorable and I’m sure your friend will be thrilled with her. Thank you for sharing with us and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

    Autumn blessings,
